BeaconFest senior expo makes its debut in Pueblo this October
Jun 23, 2026 03:05PM ● By Cloie SandlinBeaconFest is our signature celebration of age and our way of thanking BEACON readers, along with the businesses and organizations devoted to helping them live their best lives after 50.
After years of successful BeaconFests in Western Colorado, we are excited to bring the experience to the Pueblo Convention Center on October 15.
I promise you, there’s no other senior expo around quite like it. It’s a full day of music, learning, prizes and resources, all in one place. Whether you’re looking for help, inspiration or just a good reason to get out of the house with your friends, BeaconFest gives you plenty to explore.
PLUS, EVERYTHING IS FREE!
That’s right: admission, seminars, entertainment and food are all FREE!
You can also enter to win thousands of dollars in door prizes. Winners will be drawn every half-hour, so your odds are a whole lot better than the lottery, that’s for sure.
Visit directly with local, state and national exhibitors. Ask questions, compare services and discover resources you may not have known were available — from home improvement and housing to health care, financial planning, senior clubs and more.

Seniors brought their A-game to the Colorado Senior Games!
The BEACON was proud to sponsor this year’s record-breaking Colorado Senior Games, where 1,255 athletes competed in 18 sports across the Colorado Springs region. From a 93-year-old sprinter taking gold in the 50-meter dash to competitors in softball, golf, swimming, tennis and track and field, the Games were a powerful reminder that there is no age limit on competition, connection or having fun.
