Summer Arts Academy is our week-long programming designed for middle and high school students (grades 6–12, ages 11–17) who are interested in developing real artistic skills.

Building a strong foundation in drawing through observation, technique, and practice. This weeklong intensive workshop focuses on building core skills including draftsmanship, line economy, shape, design, gesture, character construction, proportion, and perspective. Studding from the student’s favorite cartoon/comic book characters the student will design their own character or characters, producing a model sheet, character turn around and emotion sheet.
