Pueblo artist Ed McCarthy showcases award-winning work

“The Whimsical Art of Ed McCarthy” is on display through August 1 in the third floor Foyer Gallery at the Colorado State Fair Fine Arts Gallery, 1001 Beulah Ave. McCarthy is a Pueblo-based artist and the Colorado State Fair’s 2025 Professional Choice Award winner. His work has appeared in regional and national galleries and earned numerous awards. In recent years, McCarthy has created handcrafted musical instruments from found objects, including cigar boxes and tins.
