The Chapter meets at the Black Forest Lutheran Church at 12 noon the second Wednesday of each month, except as follows: in March and September the Chapter meets at a local restaurant; the July meeting will be a Picnic at a location in the local area; and there will be no meeting in August. Members will be duly notified if there are any schedule changes.

The Black Forest AARP Chapter motto is "To Serve Not to be Served". All ages are encouraged and welcome to become a part of the community service-oriented chapter.
