Senior Mini College offers low-cost learning
Pueblo Community College—Fremont Campus will host the 40th Senior Mini College on March 23-27. The Mini College is open to adults and retirees of all ages. Classes are geared toward personal growth and lifelong learning. There are no grades, tests or credits. Well over 100 classes are offered. Past subjects included how to move a senior in one day, drawing, disc golf, writing your own obituary, Greenwood Cemetery pioneers, making movies from an iPhone, birds of prey, grafting fruit trees, emergency preparedness, Colorado medicinal plants and many more options. Teachers are volunteers, including local experts, artists, authors and other accomplished individuals. Classes fill quickly, so senior students are encouraged to have a second choice ready. 

egistration opens on March 6. The cost is $10 per day or $45 per week. Lunch options are available for approximately $15, or you may bring your own. PCC’s Fremont Campus is located at 51320 W. U.S. Highway 50, Cañon City.
