Explore the history of money with free admission for military members

From May 17 through Labor Day (September 1), the Money Museum in Colorado Springs is offering free admission to active-duty military personnel—including National Guard and Reserve members—and their families. Located at 818 N. Cascade Avenue, the Money Museum is the nation’s largest museum dedicated to numismatics—the study of money and currency.

Visitors can explore world-class exhibits that trace the history, culture and artistry of money from around the world. A new exhibit opening June 26, The Silk Road(s): A Numismatic Travelogue, highlights the coins and commerce that shaped the world’s first global trade route.

To receive free admission, visitors must present a valid military ID. For hours and more information, call 719-632-2646 or visit money.org/money-museum.
