NATO’s attention returned to Europe after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The United States focus also shifted, but toward the rise of China and shoring up international security in the Western Hemisphere. The class will examine how diverging geopolitical concerns and opportunities stress test institutional bonds at NATO.
